WEIGH BEARING EXERCISE FOR MUSCLE FITNESS

I love the feeling of working out and I’d like to share my passion for fitness with others.  

My mission is to provide a challenging and results-oriented workout that will have my clients feeling better than when they first came to the gym.  

My basic philosophy is to strengthen hearts and muscles through weight-bearing exercises and calisthenics. Both these techniques are a great way to elevate your heart rate without putting clients on “torture” devices such as the treadmill.  I have nothing against cardio workouts or cross-training but my strength lays in making clients stronger and leaner through, primarily, resistance training (using free weights, weight machines and gravity).  

It is my experience that clients enjoy resistance training and that it is the most productive workout of all and the bonus is, it yields the quickest results.

I am also dedicated to the power of prevention and helping you be your best you at any age.  

I believe the laid back atmosphere of one-on-one training or small group workouts at Legends gym will ensure that clients have fun - while building functional strength, staying safe and achieving their goals!

I don’t subscribe to the “Results come first - Nothing else matters- but results” mantra.  

I am guided by the principle to achieve the best results for you!  I try to make people look and feel great not just by building bigger muscles and heart strength but also by providing the residual benefits of physical fitness -those intangible feelings of well-being, belonging and happiness.  I believe in health of the mind and spirit as well.

I subscribe to a holistic approach to fitness and I begin with the body  by progressively overloaded resistance training programs, following the SAID principle and an intelligent approach to nutrition but also to addressing  the human component of working out.  Working out should be enjoyable and in an emotionally safe place.

I try my utmost to do this with empathy, caring, professionalism and the passing on of knowledge.




My Mantra: There’s More to Fitness Than Just Body Work….it’s Holistic

The first step is to find out what you, the client, wants. This is not a top-down discussion but a conversation where we find out what challenges you have encountered in the past, what your problems are and how we can fix them.

Personal training is a mutual contract. I deliver my utmost by creating the best workouts and diets for the individual client and lead by example. Then we strive together to meet our mutual goal.
